Fewer Words, More Meaning: An Introduction to the Interpreting Field


Class will be taught in spoken English.

Students will gain a better understanding profession and and assess their own skill sets if they are well suited to pursue interpreter training.

- Students will explore the interpreter task.

- Understand business concerns.

- Learn about ethical principals.

- Learn about teaming, Deaf interpreters and understand what this profession really means.

  • Completed Level 6 or Conversational.  Strong signer.
